René Hansen
René has over 25 years of international experience as a senior HR professional.
Before founding ES8, René spent over a decade as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Dubai-based Crescent Group, a diversified international conglomerate with operations spanning North America, Europe, and the Middle East across multiple industries.
From 2012 through 2018, René was a member of the World Economic Forum’s Oil & Gas Future of Human Capital Working Group, a group made up of the industry’s HR thought leadership. He was also a partner of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community.
René holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the Montana State University, USA. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and a Master of Business Administration from the London Business School in the UK.
